Elise graduated with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan School of Physical Therapy in 1996, and the College of Physical Education in 1997.

Since becoming a Physiotherapist, Elise has worked in private practice in Saskatoon in a variety of roles. She was the manger of multidisciplinary teams, performing assessments and treatment programs for WCB, SGI, and other insurance companies. She has also taught at the School of Physical Therapy since 2008, as a sessional lecturer and lab instructor. In 2021, she received the Award of Merit for Clinical Excellence from the Saskatchewan Physiotherapy Association.

Over the years, Elise has continued to develop her skills and expertise in Vestibular therapy, helping patients with dizziness and balance issues. In 2010, she completed the competency-based Vestibular Rehabilitation course at Emory University School of Medicine. In 2016, she attended the advanced vestibular competency course at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Elise has a keen interest in treating infants and children. In 2018, she completed a course for assessment and treatment of torticollis and plagiocephaly at the children’s hospital Tufts Medical Center. She has also taken courses in cancer care, concussions, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions over the years.

Jocelyn completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Master of Physical Therapy degrees at the University of Saskatchewan. She also has certification as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology.

Jocelyn has been working in private practice in a multidisciplinary setting where she was able to work with a range of clients. From children to seniors, from athletes to weekend warriors to those being introduced to exercise for the first time, she has guided a diverse range of clients, tailoring care to meet each individual’s unique needs and goals.

Jocelyn believes in the principle of exercise as medicine and enjoys analyzing and improving movement patterns. Her approach focuses not only on relieving symptoms, but on identifying underlying body mechanics to help her clients move better and feel stronger. She continues to build her expertise through ongoing training and courses and has a special interest in working in women’s health. She is passionate about giving her clients the tools they need to manage their symptoms independently so they can achieve their goals.

Dakota graduated from Axiom Career College with a Diploma in Medical Massage Therapy. He has been a practicing member of the Massage Therapy Association of Saskatchewan (MTAS), applying his experience in a multidisciplinary clinic to personalize healthcare plans for each patient using his scope of practice.

Dakota continues to further his knowledge and skills with advanced training. In 2023, Dakota became certified in Myofascial cupping using it to revitalize scar tissue and ease hypertension. Further education involves IASTM (instrumented assisted soft tissue mobilization) using specialized heated instruments to help increase mobility and tissue health.

Dakota is licensed with the MTAS and is credentialed to treat WCB and SGI patients.

Having over 15 years in the hospitality industry building good rapport has given him many skills to utilize. Amanda graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiology and a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. She received the award for the highest grade in clinical proficiency. Her research group received the award for the top research paper and was then published in the journal Physiotherapy Canada.

Amanda has continued to advance her knowledge and skills through continuing education. In 2011, she completed the competency-based Vestibular Rehabilitation course at the Emory University School of Medicine. In 2014, she attended the advanced vestibular competency course at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

In addition to her specialized training and almost 15 years of experience in assessing and treating patients with dizziness and balance problems, she also performs educational sessions for other healthcare professionals in this regard.

Trent Rempel graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiology (2009), Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology (2011), and a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy (2013).

Throughout his career Trent has developed his clinical skills and academic knowledge through continuing education. Having completed level 3 upper quadrant and level 3 lower quadrant courses within the Orthopedic AIM Level Education System as well as Mobilization of the Nervous System in 2015, and Vestibular Rehabilitation for Physical Therapists in 2017. His independent study focuses on headache, migraine, TMD, and tinnitus, as well as other craniofacial pain conditions.

He has provided workshops and seminars to the public and special populations regarding his areas of interest, including balance/dizziness, headaches/migraine, chronic pain, and injuries of the neck/face. Trent is passionate about his ongoing work with the cheerleading community, to assist with medical coverage, injury prevention, and sport performance.

With 11 years of clinical experience, Trent has worked in a private practice setting helping patients across the whole lifespan, including infants and children. He enjoys collaborating with his patients and other healthcare practitioners to assist in their recovery. Trent has experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries, assisting with post-surgical recovery, as well as headaches and injuries of the jaw.
